About Helix

We’ve always tried to keep our climbing wall interesting for our route setters and customers. We also love being busy, tinkering and building stuff, so making changes to our wall with hand-made volumes is just something we’ve always done.

Our Derbyshire home has some of the best rock in the UK and a solid climbing scene that’s benefitted us lots over the years. Our hope with Helix is to give something back, by taking our experience and building a range of holds and volumes that will benefit climbers, not just in Derbyshire, but further afield.

Belief in the quality of our products is important to us. 25+ years as professional climbers and route setters means we know a good bit about what makes for decent climbing holds. The recent addition of a purpose-built workshop, with precision machining capability, means we can manufacture to very small tolerances, ensuring our products are as strong as possible and made to last.
